CINEMAHALL

- International organization (NGO) for informal film education, aimed at free information and experience exchange, creation of joint projects by specialists and beginners.

Project unites people who cannot imagine their lives without art of cinematograph; it erases age, national, professional and geographic bounds.

- is an Official representative of the European film association of the organizations of young professionals, students and film enthusiasts NISI MASA in Ukraine.

Offices of the organiztaion function in such cities of Ukraine as Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Lugansk, Kharkov, Odessa, Uzghorod, Kherson.

Initiative groups were formed in such cities as Lvov, Rovno, Kremenchug, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Chernigov.

Requests to organize project were received from participants from Krivoy Rog, Nilolaev, Mariupol, Sevastopol and also from  Bratislava (Slovak Republic), Moscow, Saint-Pietersburg  (Russia)  .

Master-classes in the context of the events of the organization were made by such figures as Nicolas Angel (France), Adam Milewsky (Poland), Julian Dismore (Great Britain), Johnny O'Reilly (Ireland), Olga Korotkaya (Russia), Iren Rozdobudko (Ukraine), Alexey Kuharonok (Russia), Alexandr Gordon (Russia) and many others.

CinemaHall is a media partner of such festivals as "Kiev International Film Festival", "KinofestNYC", «Nouveaux Cinémas Ukraine»,  «Kinomedia», «Prize of Tarkovki», «Cinema under the stars», «NIFAK» ,"VAU-fest", "SpaceLiberty", "Nikolaev Open Film Festival", "Multividinie", "Ranok".

HISTORY OF THE ORGANIZATION AND PROJECT "CINEMAHALL"


The autumn of the last year, exactly, 29th of October 2009 is considered to be an official date of birth of the project «CinemaHall», and Dnepropetrovsk - its Native city. At the Palace of children and youth has gathered more than hundred film fans. Marilyn Monroe and Charlie Chaplin met all who came there. Director and producer of TV programs Anatoly Aleksandrov told how to create the author's TV-program, and the video-

studio "Owl" and film school "Dneprcinema" gave a practical master-class on etude shooting, and for some time the scene has turned to the shooting place. And it is ok, because the motto of CinemaHall is: «You at cinema, cinema in you!». Also spectators could watch a new film by Stanislav Leshchenko “Sad colours”. Grand opening of the project has been visited by visitors from more than 5 cities of Ukraine.

 

Normally, that such courageous innovative project touched souls of cinema lovers. So, the first challenge to Hollywood has been thrown!

Lugansk became the second city that has accepted relay race in the field of cinema. Grand opening of «CinemaHall» project was held on the International day of cinema - December, 28th. The great hall of Lugansk state institute of culture and arts was overflowed. The Master-class on video advertising was given by the director, teacher of LSICA Sergey Pospelov. How to create a video clip was shown by studio “Hotjam” the authors of a full-length film «the Cardboard fur-tree». Starting project under New Year is the keystone to success!

 

For Kharkov it was a real destiny to join the project, because it is a city of students and films. Project opening took place on 20th of February 2010 at the oldest cinemahall of Ukraine «Bommer». On the opening day there were TV directors, film stars and film critics - all people "outstanding": Vladimir Mislavsky, Elena Grigoriev, Dmitry Petrenko, Sergey Grinev, Dmitry Golovachyov. Ostap Bender, Ellochka Ludoedochka, Charlie Chaplin and Marylyn Monroe, and also Daphna, Josephina and Jack Sparrow led the concert that became a real holiday of cinema! Thanks to the Kharkov coordinators for that mini-festival under the name «CinemaHall Kharkov», and it will be remembered long time after.

     

Project opening in Zaporozhye became the present film boom. On March, 20th the local film fans who came  to the Library named after Gorky could watch the film about history of the native city prepared by Zaporozhye coordinators. Among honored guests of the opening - the President of the association of stuntmen of the Baltic countries Roman Morozov who promised to give a master-class on stunt art within CinemaHall.

   

 A week later, on 26th of March the film project appeared in Poltava. Grand opening took place in creative cafe «Villa Crocodila». Film excursion to the history of «great illusion», photo-exhibition, video clip shooting, and also short films contest – and it is an incomplete list of what Poltava coordinators have prepared!

   

In Odessa the Grand opening was held on 4th of June in the Odessa cultural centre. More than 350 people gathered to share love to cinematography. The master class “How to shoot films” was made by Hobby-Navigator production, film critics Evgeniy Jenin told about his experience in creation of the greatest Ukrainian films. The organizers prepared the “History of Odessa films” movie and “10 cinema mistakes” movie. Everybody asked “When will be the next time? We want to come!”.

     

In Kiev the House of cinema became the place where project has opened. Audio-visual performance, master-class in Postproduction, Visual effects and DTC by “Star media”, smiles and laughs made holiday unbelievably bright. The next day there were master classes by Ruben Landsberger (France) and Julian Dismore (Great Britain).
