30.06.2010

On June, 30th at House of Cinema long-awaited opening of All-Ukrinian project CinemaHall in Kiev took place!

CinemaHall – the first in Ukraine project of informal education in Ukraine, aiming at free information exchange, having experience, and also creation of joint projects by experts and beginning cinematographers. Erasing age, national, professional and geographical borders, the project has united people who do not think of life without cinema. Such, - active and interesting people filled all the hall of the House of Cinema. More than ten photographers ploughed air with their cameras, more than thirty journalists have armed with the pens, ready to write down, more than six-hundred smiles have filled the Red Cinema hall in a holiday threshold under the name «CinemaHall». On the Opening day there arrived visitors-representatives of nine cities of Ukraine where CinemaHall has already opened.

Remarkable actors Alexander Konrady and Elena Turbal became leaders of solemn Opening. Elena's bright smile and Alexander's charm have left nobody indifferent. In some minutes the cinema hall plunged into darkness and spectators saw shots from sign films: smiling shoes-maker from "Alisa", a red flag rising on the battleship “Potemkin”, a train arriving on station La-Siota, and also set of other all known episodes. And everything step by step has rushed back … the Tenth muse soared over a scene, whispering cinema History.

Bright festoon lightings have pierced darkness with the light. To pronounce the official speech and solemn cutting of a red ribbon (in our case, film) the President, the author of the idea, and organizer of the project Illia Svidler was invited. The daddy of the project has greeted visitors of Grand opening, told about the purposes, directions, and also about prospects. Under a storm of applause solemn ceremony was declared opened!

Further on a scene there appeared  honourable guest of the Opening from Great Britain, Julian Dismore, - director and producer, whose works with enormous success were shown on such channels, as Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Channel 4, 5, Sky. Charisma and warmth of the director transferred to spectators, and in a minute all the hall enthusiastically- deafening applauded, rustled and rattled at the command of Dzhuliana.

Audiovisual performance, around which the serious agiotage had been created, justified expectations. The Japanese drums of collective "Taiko" began to sound, neon lightss of a theatre of fire and light «Burning star» rushed in impetuous dance. Suddenly on a scene there appeared a couple, dancers of dans-club "Colors". And, without stopping, being poured in synestezy, movements of dancers, lights and a drumbeat excited heart and mind.

The master class from group of companies "Star media", the leader in sphere of film industry became the Opening culmination. Ivan Zhilinsky, the technical director of "Starmedia", and also talented experts of the company told the spectators the secret of creation of visual effects in the most known films, and also about subtleties postproduction. One of the most interesting parts of the master class, was DTC – Department of Technical Control, - was so exciting so that the lecturers were attentively listened not only by beginning cinematographers, but also by experts, representatives of video and production studios presented at cinema hall.

Sweet gift to visitors of the Grand opening was prepared by company «Dom Kofe», the General coffee partner of the project CinemaHall. All who wanted were able to take pleasure tasting premium coffee.

Sure Grand Opening of CinemaHall took place wonderfully well! The organizers who got a bit tired,  at the same time very happy,  began to prepare for master classes of the international tutors of the project. The All-Ukrainian noncommercial project CinemaHall Kiev opened! We wish good luck to organizers of the project and we believe that it is the beginning of a successful and fruitful way!
